The ifrothgolf review
The Tour360 24 is adidas bringing back the chunky, serious tour shoe after a few years of sleeker, more sneaker-like models. It is a spiked, full-leather shoe built around the idea of anchoring your feet to the turf: a waterproof leather upper with 360Wrap lacing support, a Torsion Bridge that runs across the arch, and a seven-spike THINTECH outsole with the old removable tornado spikes back in the lineup. Cushioning comes from a mix of adidas Lightstrike foam with a BOOST unit under the heel.
What's great
Stability is the headline. The wide, supportive base and the Torsion Bridge give you a planted, connected-to-the-ground feel through the swing that the slip-on style shoes just cannot match, so if you swing hard or play in soft conditions this is the one. The waterproofing is the real deal, backed by a one-year guarantee, and testers consistently came back with dry feet after wet rounds. Removable spikes mean you can replace traction rather than bin the shoe, and the leather upper is built to last more than a season or two.
Worth knowing
It is a heavier, bulkier shoe than the spikeless trend most brands are chasing, so if you want something light and trainer-like for walking 18 in the dry, this will feel like a lot of shoe. The break-in is real: the full leather upper needs a few rounds to soften, and some testers found it stiff and snug across the top early on. It also runs warm in summer heat, and at full RRP it is a premium price for what is fundamentally a traditional design.
The verdict
If you value stability and waterproofing over lightweight comfort, the Tour360 24 is one of the best spiked shoes you can buy and a genuine return to form. Just go in knowing it is a chunky, proper tour shoe that needs breaking in, not a sleek everyday trainer. Worth waiting for the regular discounts off RRP.
